I put together this Maxpedition Gearslinger review because I recently bought one of these bags and am thoroughly impressed by the overall quality and usability. If you are looking for an ultra durable and well thought out pack, you should take a serious look at the Maxpedition products. I use mine for everything from an EDC pack, day hiking pack, single night bag, camera bag, to a range bag for my handguns, ammo and safety equipment.
